Refinishing a weathered cedar deck? - cedar deck finish
I had installed a cedar deck, a year ago and was informed by the contractor to wait a year before on the surface of the bridge. Well, I thought it would have terminated immediately after construction. The cover is now turned gray and it is a little rusty and I have conflicting advice on how to get rid of it. Some say that the use of wood bleach music, others to the relationship between the use of 3-1 for the bleach. Anyone who has experience with bleach?
Some say the pressure washing, others not. I've heard that pressure washing can damage the wood. Pressure washing is OK, so use what ISP?
And you can tell your experience with the products of the wood finish? What are some names of good wood finishing products on the market, and avoid that person? I want the bridge to take a look of natural wood, as wood was the time of delivery.
I would appreciate your advice and I thank you very much for your time.
