You are on the right track. Log in Princeton or a top Ivy (Yale, Harvard) is a process that before the start of high school, more or less. His powers seem like they are in the ballpark, but would certainly try, in the top 1% of his class, if possible, preserved. Harvard, Yale and Princeton are looking Valedictorian. Unless you go to a private school or boarding school. So it is different.

For Princeton, have most probably be in the top 1% of his class. As for the ACT or SAT must be in the percentile 95%, at least. Princeton, uses the application of common or at least they have when I was there. And you have many activities that have to be, seem to be taken into account. Not all sports, btw. You''ll also need to join volunteers and clubs to end their careers.

They seem well on their place in a school in the Ivy League. Since the entrance to the Ivy League schools is so competitive, even with great qualities and activities of the school (and many) of experience, you can even volunteer for several schools. (Princeton, Cornell, Dartmouth, Brown, and even some non-Ivy universities well as Pitt, Carnegie Mellon University and Drexel)
